The content of Surat Al-Kahf

Surah Al-Kahf is a protective letter from various slanders. The greatest slander is the Antichrist's Slander. No Prophet and Apostle were sent except to remind his people of the magnitude of the Antichrist's slander. We are also required to take refuge in Allah from the Antichrist's slander at the end of our prayer. In addition to the Dajjal slander there are 4 slanders (exams) mentioned in Surah Al-Kahf. As our guide in dealing with various slanders. Among them:

First, the test because of religion, the story of ashabul kahfi who ran away from his hometown in order to preserve his faith.

Second, the slander of the treasure of the story, shahibul jannatain (owner of two gardens), who kufr to his Lord because of glare with his world.

Third, the test because of science, the story of Musa with Khidr. Moses was instructed to study with Khidr, even though he was a Prophet who had the Torah. Because on top of the people who have knowledge, there are those who have more knowledge.

Fourth, slander the power and power of the story of Dhu'l-Qarnayn. A king of rulers of almost all surfaces of the world. His power stretches from the eastern end to the western end. But he made his power to uphold justice and sharia for all humans.

Affirmation Letter

The majority of scholars say, the Al-Kahfi letter Allah sent down before moving. So this letter is classified as a Makiyyah letter. To be precise, this letter was revealed before the emigration of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and his companions. As if this letter became a preamble, for a great struggle for the Muslims, migrate to leave his hometown, following his wealth and family.

God strengthens their hearts with the story:

1. Ashabul kahfi, his story teaches that man must maintain his religion, even if he has to be driven out of his hometown. Hijrah is a solution for people who have tested their faith. Saving religion is an obligation and a fixed price.

2. The story of Shahibul Jannatain (owner of the garden), the story teaches that people are not dazzled by wealth, so they prefer the world and leave their religion. Even the Prophet was not worried about poverty, but the Prophet was worried when the world unfolded to his people. So they are competing after him which results in destruction. Not a few Muslims who mortgaged their aqeedah for wealth, position and position.

3. The story of Musa & Khidir, the story teaches that people should go to the source of knowledge and guidance, wherever he is. Knowledge is sought and visited, therefore in the Qur'an mentioned by the term Utul ‘Ilm (coming to knowledge). With knowledge he is able to distinguish between haq and vanity, monotheism and shirk, sunnah and bid'ah and others.

4. The story of Dhu'l-Qarnayn, the story teaches that this earth will be passed down by anyone whom Allah wills among His servants. This power will be present if the 3 things above can be implemented.

So special is this letter, that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam made it as a source of light for humans. So that they are avoided from the defamation of the Antichrist, world defamation, and religion. Of course, this is for those who try to contemplate the contents and their meaning.
