In the Holy Qur'an , Surat Yaasin a letter to 36 ( of 114 letters in the Qur'an ) and included in the composition of Juz 22. Letter Yaasin placement in the Qur'an is between Surat 35th Faathiir ( Creator ) and the letter of the 37th Ash - Shaffaat ( The bershaf - rows ) .

Yaasin including a group of " letters Meccan surah " because it was revealed in Mecca , and revealed after surat Al Jiin .

Yaasin letter consists of 83 verses. From the number of the verse , Surah Ya Sin including Surat groups being the number of verses ( between 50-100 paragraph ) .

Named " Yaasin " because it begins with the letter Yaasin " , which words were never explained by Allah and the Prophet . Allaah knows bishshawab . Only God knows means ( 3 other letters in the Qur'an named after the initial letters in the mail, as well as Yaasin , is : Letter Thaahaa , S. Shaad , and S. Qaf )
