Talmedia

Talmedia is a web platform and a mobile application intended to make the classical texts of Judaism (text of the Torah) available free of charge to the French-speaking public.

Without advertising, subscription or even registration, have access to the full texts of the Mishnah, Tanakh (including Rashi's commentary) and Babylonian Talmud (for now only the Moed seder treatises, the other treaties will be available soon).

How does Talmedia work?

To offer French translations, Talmedia relies on two levers:

- Very high quality machine translation of texts translated into other languages ​​(mainly English translations for the moment)

- Collaborative correction: all Talmedia users can suggest correcting the text which will - after validation by a third party - be incorporated into the corpus of published texts.

Of course, when the French translations are available, it is the latter that will be used (as is the case with the verses of the Tanakh for example).

Please also note that the body of texts is intended to grow gradually.
