Echo: Voice Diary

Echo is a private voice diary and audio journal - built for people who want to journal every day but hate typing. Open the app, tap record, speak freely. Your voice diary entry is saved instantly on your device.

No account. No cloud. No compromise on privacy.

SPEAK, DON'T TYPE

Recording a voice diary entry takes less than ten seconds. Your voice memo is saved as a private audio diary entry - timestamped, organised by date, and ready to replay whenever you want. Echo is the fastest way to keep a personal journal.

OFFLINE AI TRANSCRIPTION

Echo converts your voice recordings to text using on-device AI. No audio ever leaves your phone. No internet required. Your words stay with you. Choose from three transcription quality levels - Low, Medium, or High - depending on the storage you can spare.

A CALENDAR BUILT FOR YOUR MEMORIES

Every voice diary entry lives on your personal calendar. Jump back to any day, week, or month and relive your thoughts exactly as you recorded them. Echo also surfaces past entries from the same date in previous years - your own "this day in history."

CATEGORIES & COLOUR CODING

Create custom categories - Work, Family, Travel, Health, Ideas, Mood - and colour-code every diary entry. Your calendar fills with colour as your audio journal grows. Filter any category to find the right moment in seconds.

PRIVACY FIRST - ALWAYS

DAILY REMINDER

Set a personalised daily reminder at any time of day. Echo will nudge you to record your thoughts - so building a daily journaling habit becomes effortless.

LOCK ENTRIES UNTIL A DATE

Write yourself a message for the future. Lock a voice diary entry until a specific date and rediscover it when the time comes.

BEAUTIFUL & MINIMAL DESIGN

Echo is designed with a clean, distraction-free interface. Full dark mode, light mode, and automatic system theme support. Set your display name and make Echo feel personal from day one.

WHY ECHO?

Most diary and journal apps require an account and sync your private thoughts to a cloud server you don't control. Echo doesn't. There is no account to create, no server to trust, and no subscription to pay. Your voice, your words, your memories - they exist only on your device, and nowhere else.

Echo is not just a voice recorder. It is a private, personal audio journal and voice diary built for everyday life - quiet, honest, and completely yours.

Download Echo and start speaking your mind.
