clients via text message. It is PIPA secure, meeting the Canadian Electronic Security measures for safeguarding sensitive information.

It eliminates the need to book appointments. This kind of flexibility makes it more possible for individuals with busy schedules or time-intensive jobs, to seek out the support they need. It

makes it possible for Clinicians to support clients in between booked appointments etc.

response time with their clients).

Sometimes a busy schedule isn’t the only thing keeping us from therapy. Perhaps difficulty

finding childcare, busy working or school schedules or commute time could be the difference

between making it to your therapy appointment or skipping it. Or you may be traveling, and

unable to meet with your therapist in person. Theratext allows your therapist to literally meet you

where you are.

Many individuals around the country face mobility problems, or live far outside of a city and far

from services they need. These hindrances can prevent them from seeking and getting the care

they need. Theratext allows therapists to expand their reach beyond their local area. It allows

them to support folks who may be farther away or unable to come into an office for an

appointment.

Safety During a Pandemic

Theratext reduces risk of COVID 19 virus transmission. It provides access to much needed

support without the need for extensive PPE, which costs money, and the stress and worry that

can grow with the possibility of transmitting the virus.
