The ALTRAFO transformers are the result of thirty years of experience in the electrical and electromechanical field, the passion of its founders and the daily commitment of young, dynamic and qualified professionals who are concerned with the design, planning and product development. ALTRAFO The plant is located in the Industrial Zone of Matera, it spreads over an area of ​​20,000 sqm of which the production area covered 7.000mq, 1.200mq of office space and 13,000 square discovered.

ALTRAFO is able to produce resin insulated transformers with power up to 20MVA and class of 36kV insulation, insulated transformers in oil with power up to 40MVA and class of 72kV insulation.

ALTRAFO develops inside all project phases, embodiments and product tests. Thanks to continuous technological upgrade, the careful selection of raw materials and the stringent tests on their products the ALTRAFO is able to ensure a high level of quality both on standard products of "custom" solutions developed according to customer specifications materials .
