Pagar Nusa College is the Nahdlatul Ulama pencak silat organization

Pagar Nusa is an organization that accommodates Pencak Silat under the auspices of Nahdlatul Ulama.

Pagar Nusa was formed on 22 Rabi'ul Akhir 1406 H / 03 January 1986 AD at the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, East Java.

The first General Chairman was KH. Abdulloh Maksumjauhari in order to unite and accommodate a number of NU martial arts colleges which were previously diverse and stood separately.

Pencak Silat Nahdlatul Ulama Pagarnusa, was established as an autonomous body under the auspices of Nahdlatul Ulama which is movement-based in implementing NU policies on the development of arts, culture, traditions, pencak silat sports, alternative medicine, and community service.

The Pagar Nusa symbol is the identity for members who are members of the martial arts formed by Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Not just a collection of images, the meaning of the Pagar Nusa symbol is very deep.

The Pagar Nusa Pencak Silat symbol has a very distinctive shape. Dominated by green, the NU pencak silat logo is composed of latitude, longitude, nine stars, a globe, Arabic writing "لا غالب الا بالله" (La Gholiba Illa Billah), and a trident in a pentagon shape.
