U-TAG

U-Tag is a next generation concept that promotes speed reduction on Irish roads, hence saving lives. The product consists of a Smart Phone App and a wireless in-Car Device that work together to notify drivers, in real time, of Speed Cameras in the area in which they are travelling. Using GPS and 3G technologies, drivers are notified if a Speed Van lies ahead at the exact time the speed van is there.

Unlike many other speed notifiers that alert you to all ‘danger areas’, whether there is a speed trap there or not, U-TAG works in Real Time. So, when you are alerted by U-TAG it’s far more likely that a speed trap lies ahead.
