Mango is a sweet fruit of the mango genus, including many tropical fruits, grown mainly as edible fruit. The majority of the species found in nature are wild mangoes. All of them belong to Anacardiaceae. Mango has its origins in South Asia and Southeast Asia, from which it has been distributed all over the world to become one of the most grown fruits in the tropics. The highest density of mango (Magifera) in western Malesia (Sumatra, Java and Borneo) and in Myanmar and India. While other Mangifera species (eg, mango, M. Foetida) were also developed on a more local basis, mangifera indica, "ordinary mango" or "mango india" many tropical and subtropical regions. It is native to India and Myanmar. It is the national fruit of India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and the national tree of Bangladesh. In some cultures, its fruits and leaves are used as ritual decorations at weddings, celebrations, and religious ceremonies.
