VILLAGE ASSETS INFORMATION SYSTEM

A Village Assets Information System (VAIS) mobile app is developed to provide IT assistance to District Administration Karnal. Provides information about multiple factors such as population, demography, infrastructure and natural resources (if any) at the village level.

VAIS allows the district administration in management and analysis of rural data for efficient rural planning.

Management of village related information in a technological environment, which will help the rural planners for the planning and implementation of plans in rural areas. VAIS comprises all the information related to the infrastructure, population, building type, etc.

Presently all the information about District, Subdivision, Tehsil, Sub Tehsil, Block, Village, Panchayat, Thana, Location Detail (Longitude and Latitude), Holy Tirath, Govt. Hospital/CHC/PHC, Common Service Center, Aadhaar center, Source of irrigation in Village , Population according to Latest Census, Drinking Water facility, Power station. Veterinary hospital, School and colleges, Krishi Sewa Kendra, Soil testing centre, bank, Post office, Banks, Communication ISP, Self help group, Ayurvedic Dispensary, Vyayam Shala, Park with open Gym, Khel Stadium , Distance from District HQ. etc. information is Manual or Not yet completely digitized.

In First phase Mobile app will cover the following things:

1. Entry and updation of all the Above mentioned by collecting information from District Administration.

2. Infrastructure wise Search Mechanism like govt land /No. of Aanganwadi’s/ Village Population etc. in all the villages
