Visit Saltus

Visit Saltus is an application developed in partnership with Salt Municipality, ProgressSoft, and Generations For Peace as part of Code For Jordan programme.

It aims to provide the community with opportunities to work through the app indirectly. It mainly lists the attractions and tours available in Al-Balqa’a on a map and based on whether it was a religious or cultural tour...etc. It shows the restaurants, parks, and hotels available.

The long-term goal is to promote for Balqa tourism especially during COVID-19 where travel is very restricted while providing some kind of income for community members by attracting more tourists.

Some features include a map with locations, attractions categorised based on purpose, and available tours.
