All you have to do is download the program for PC, catalog your video library, and the generated database, transfer it to your mobile phone to open it with this VisualDivX viewer for Android. It is advisable to use cloud services, such as Google Drive to always have it updated. Once you have the database in the cloud, you open the VisualDivX viewer and load said database, either from the cloud or from the mobile memory.

Needless to say, this program is not used to download movies, or to watch them. It is simply a movie cataloger to keep track of inventory.

Regarding permissions, VisualDivX Viewer only needs Internet permissions because it connects to a public database to be able to see the movie posters. You also need the network status permission, to detect if there is no connection and thus not call the data server and be able to use the program in offline mode. Finally, you need the read permission of the external storage in case you want to load the database from the sdcard and not from the cloud, for example.
