Notification Volume Behaviour

If your device supports separate ring and notification streams, they can be controlled independently. Otherwise, notification volume will follow ring volume.

Compatibility Note

Button mapping apps such as Button Mapper or Bixby Button Remapper may interfere if volume button customisation is enabled. To avoid conflicts, launch Volume Panel Pro from your button mapping app and assign the Volume Up / Volume Down shortcuts instead.

If Volume Panel Pro moves to a free download with optional in-app purchases and advertising, existing paid users will keep access to their premium features.

Required Permissions

Volume Panel Pro only requests permissions needed for specific features.

• Accessibility Service – Detects volume up and volume down button presses

• Do Not Disturb Access – Allows ring, vibrate and silent mode controls

• Notification Listener Access – Detects audio casting where supported

• Overlay Permission – Shows the volume panel over other apps

• Usage Access – Detects excluded apps so the panel can be hidden when needed

Although Android shows a generic warning for accessibility services, Volume Panel Pro does not capture, read, store or share personal information.

The Accessibility Service is only used to detect volume button presses.

Volume Panel Pro does not collect, store or share personal data, and it does not connect to the internet.
