“Vuma” literally means “all together”, and that meaning fluently translates into our mission. Rather than provide a splintered or “niche” platform to share truly diverse content focused on the untold or rarely shared, Vuma seeks to bring authentic multicultural content into the global limelight. Our vision includes providing curated content for an underserved global multicultural audience, but our platform isn’t meant to promote differences in a way that encourages those audiences to wall themselves off from the rest of the world. To the contrary, Vuma strives to provide an engaging platform, without borders, to watch and share content that intentionally recognizes and celebrates race, ethnicity and intellect around the globe, inviting everyone to join the conversation.
