Wolverine (Animals)

wolverine (Gulo gulo) originally is a kind of carnivorous animal that still has kinship with civet and linsang. The name "wolverine" in this animal is probably derived from the word "wolver" which, if interpreted more or less means "creatures that behave like wolves". In addition to the name of wolverine, this animal is also known by the name carcajou, bear skunk, & glutton. The last name is given to call the eating behavior of a gluttonous wolverine.

Wolverine is easily recognizable by the sight of his short-muzzled head, his body covered with thick dark brown hair, & his short legs. Not without reason wolverine has such a physical appearance. The thick fur protects the wolverine from the cold weather of its habitat, while the short, strong legs allow the wolverine to move swiftly over the snow. Incidentally wolverine is only found in North America, North, Scandinavia, & northern Asia is famous for its cold climate.
