On September 2, citizens around the world celebrate the Day of the end of the Second World War. On this date, in 1945, the Act of Complete Surrender of Japan was signed, according to which the last aggressor stopped military operations and released prisoners of war and civilians. The most brutal war in history lasted exactly 6 years. It spanned three continents and caused the tragic deaths of more than 65 million people from 40 countries.

Every year, on the anniversary of the end of the Second World War, military parades, civil rallies, solemn laying of flowers at memorials and other commemorative events dedicated to the great victory are held in the countries affected by the Fascist invaders.
