Yami

Yami school of Yoga is an authentic yoga practice center founded by KirankumarBalijepalli, who is popoularly known as Yami. Founded in 2007, Yami School of Yoga believes in teaching authentic yoga techniques blended with pranayama. Since 2007, Yami started teaching this ancient tradition to the community in Singapore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and now, in Washington. Our vision is to help practitioners to draw maximum resonance and harmony with the body & mind.

KirankumarBalijepalli, popularly known to students as Yami, was born to Srimati & Shri. Kasi Vishweshwara Rao and Annapoorna Balijepalli, a family of naturopathy practitioners of yogabhyasa tradition, in the village of Relangi, located southwest of river Godavari, near Andhra Pradesh. Yami was inspired by the late Sri. Dr. Venkatrao Balijepalli, founder of the School of Nature Cure, in Hyderabad, Telangana.
