First name Kingston, His father, Kingston Cole Sr., once a renowned detective, founded the Cole Detective Agency, where Young King Cole works.

Young King always knew he was smarter than other kids. He was able to graduate two years early and went on to attend college, which he completed in two and a half years, as summa cum laude. During his time there, he became an accomplished athlete. He was a captain of the wrestling team, constantly made first or second place in cross-country races and generally excelled in gymnastics, aquatic sports and self-defense.

As a members of Cole Detective Agency, King Cole Jr proved himself fairly quickly. It wasn't long before he, with the assist of other Cole Detective Agency agents, worked as a well-oiled machine, bringing criminals down in with deduction, research, subterfuge and occasionally brute force.
