Your Plans

Your Plans aims at remaking the core map editing features and improving them while removing unnecessary limitations. It can handle KML files from My Maps and Earth and export back to KML.

My plans is also friendly to advanced users with simply formatted KML (XML) save files locally stored and editable for mass modifications, merges etc...

Features:

* Lines and shapes are considered as "networks" meaning they can be more complex and branch out without combining multiple ones!

* Easy to modify and understandable KML exports, allowing you to merge, split and modify your maps and layers with a simple text editor.

* Optional auto marker grouping and network clustering to keep your map clean and readable when zooming out.

* Add web links as attributes.

Future features:

* Import custom icons.

* Export color (and icons if possible).

* Command line instructions to modify lots of markers at once, ex: [DELETE] markers with layer [ALL] and attribute [type] = [not important].

* Desktop app.

DISCLAMERS:

I develop this app independently in my spare time. This means I am limited in resources and time so some bugs can be expected. Yet I put a lot of effort in fixing them and implementing new features.

Exported maps might lose all or part of the styling when opened in other software depending on how they manage KML files. I do my best to fit KML standards but colors and especially icons sometimes can't be transferred.
