Application "For healthier health!" presents a new application of the Center for Monitoring and Research and an innovative mechanism through which citizens can report cases of corruption or abuse in the health system of Montenegro. The application offers the possibility of sending photos, audio recordings and other evidence that confirm cases of corruption. The application will also serve as a mechanism to inform and make citizens aware of their rights as patients, and they will also be able to find out about the status of their application directly through the application.

The main goal of the application "For healthier health!" is to measure the overall level of corruption in the health system of Montenegro, determine the exact institutions, health sectors and/or doctors/health workers that are corrupt, but also to raise the awareness of health workers and citizens about the negative consequences of committing corrupt acts and affect the reduction degree of corruption in the health care system of Montenegro.

The application will also enable managers and directors of health institutions to monitor the claims and comments of citizens and take adequate measures to monitor and/or sanction workers who are most often accused of corrupt practices.

CeMi's legal team will regularly analyze the received content and act accordingly, informing the public and responsible institutions about the main issues depending on the nature of the reported cases.

The application was created within the project "For healthier health!", which is implemented by the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) and which is supported through the program "CSOs in Montenegro - from basic services to policy formulation - M'BASE" implemented by the Center for Civic Education (CGO), Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), Center for Protection and Study of Birds of Montenegro (CZIP) and Politikon network. The project is financed by the European Union and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration.
