Ömər Xəyyam

He left his hometown of Nishapur at a young age and, after a long struggle, had to settle in Samarkand. In 1074 he was invited to head the observatory in Isfahan. After the death of Seljuk king Malik Shah and minister Nizam al-Mulk in 1092, he had to leave Isfahan.

Again, sentenced to a lifestyle by the exhibition, Khayyam works for a while at the palace of one of the heirs of Melik Shah in Merv, but it is not a good idea to open a new observatory.

In the East and especially in the West, it is known for its wisdom, humor, and satire. For a long time in the East, the memory of Khayyam rabbi enters Europe with translations by Edward Fitzgerald and is an unprecedented success.

Omar Khayyam was also one of the greatest mathematicians of all time. With the Treaty on Mathematical Problems Demonstration, he made an invaluable contribution to the development of mathematical science. In this work, Khayyam first solved the solution of three-dimensional equations in the geometric way - at the intersection of the circle with hyperbola. It is also reported that he proposes the heliocentric theory of the solar system long before Copernicus.

My aunt is not married and has a closed life. He has always lived in fear of the constant persecution of clergymen who do not understand him or do not want to understand him. The date of his death falls about 1123 AD. As it is written, in the last hours of his life, he was carefully reading Ibn Sina's book of healing. When he reached the "One and Only" section, he was instructed to put a bookmark between the pages and call the people who were to bequeath to those around him. He did not eat or drink anything all day. After completing the evening prayer, he went to the prostration and said, "O Allah, You know that I have understood You within my means. Forgive me, my wisdom is in Your service. At the same time committed suicide.

Omar Khayyam told his relatives, "My grave will be in such a place that in summer it will blow the flowers." It was true. Flowering branches hanging from the cemetery fence of the pear and spruce trees of the adjacent garden were the umbrella of the great thinker.
