An asphalt road is an ideal surface for streets and public roads. It has many advantages over conventional dirt roads due to its high performance and wear resistance. The roadbed consists of the lower and upper layers. The bottom layer is asphalt concrete, which is laid directly on the ground. The top layer (protective) is made of crushed-stone-mastic asphalt concrete.
