Каракалпакско-русский разговор

The application allows you to view sets of expressions and phrases in Russian or Karakalpak (written in both Latin and Cyrillic) and get "parallel" phrases (from Karakalpak to Russian and from Russian to Karakalpak).

When starting to work with the application, the user can watch the introductory video in Karakalpak.

The user can choose one of three options for displaying phrases and expressions: in Russian, in Karakalpak (Latin), in Karakalpak (Cyrillic).

After selecting the initial set, the user can choose one of three options for displaying the set:

• A full set of phrases (at the moment - about one and a half thousand)

• A set of phrases broken down by topic

• A set of phrases based on a search for a word entered by the user.

In each of the three options, the user gets a set of phrases that he can scroll (move up and down with his finger) and by pressing his finger on any of the phrases in the displayed list, immediately get a "parallel" phrase.

The application has the ability to voice phrases in Russian (by pressing an additional button). Unfortunately, a similar opportunity for Karakalpak does not exist today.

Upon switching to the "Phrases by Topics" mode, the user has the opportunity to first select a topic - and this choice he can change at any time.

When showing the main set, the user can choose (using the switch on the screen) the option of showing "parallel" phrases: if the main set is in Russian, you can choose to show in Karakalpak either in Cyrillic or Latin - for example.

The application provides for turning on and off (at the user's choice) background music (there are several melodies).

The application can be used both for individual purposes and as a methodological tool in the study of Russian as a foreign language (it is necessary, of course, the development of appropriate guidelines and verification by experience).
