"Fisherman's Handbook" is a useful application containing a detailed description of the most famous fish species that live in the waters of Russia and neighboring countries. It will be useful for both beginners and experienced amateur anglers.

The application contains two main sections:

1. "Types of fish";

2. "Methods of fishing and tackle."

There is also a "Favorites" section, with which you can create your own list of fish.

At the moment, the application describes more than 70 species of fish.

For each species, the name is given in Russian and Latin, synonyms and popular names, position in the classification system, as well as a detailed description, which contains the following subsections:

• Biological description;

• Habitat;

• Lifestyle and nutrition;

• Reproduction and development;

• Significance for a person;

• Features of fishing.

The description of each fish species contains 3 high-resolution color photographs. To view a photo in full screen, briefly touch it. In full screen mode, you can zoom and scroll images to the left or right, as well as view them in landscape orientation.

The application supports searching by the name of fish in Russian and Latin, as well as searching by the name of the family to which a certain type of fish belongs.

To search by family name, you need to enter the “#” symbol in the search line, followed by the family name. For example, "# perch".

As a result, all fish belonging to the given family will be displayed in the list.
