Everyone knows the “Taganrog truth” in the city. This is not surprising - on February 13, 2018, the newspaper celebrated its centenary. During this time, its names changed (“Taganrog Proletariat”, “Bulletin of the Taganrog Council of Workers' Deputies”, “Red Banner”, “Banner of the Revolution”, “Don Truth” and so on), format, circulation, frequency. One thing remained unchanged - the desire to be the publication necessary for the Taganrozhites.

Today, Taganrog Truth is published twice a week: on Wednesday we talk about city events, on Friday we offer the reader a weekend release (by the way, the Taganrog “fat girl”, the first issue of which was born in 1996, became the first such publication in Rostov areas).

We have something to be proud of - our journalists have repeatedly won awards at competitions at various levels, from local to federal, and the newspaper itself has been awarded the Golden Press Foundation distinction for three consecutive years. We are open to everything new:

freelance authors operating in the editorial office of the School of Young Journalists under the slogan "Youth - a state of mind" are regularly published on our pages, people of all ages visit.

In general, despite the difficulties (and who does not have them?), We look to the future with optimism. And we hope to celebrate at least the 150th anniversary!
