Hesamuddin Siraj was born in 1337 in Isfahan. He is a singer of Iranian music and a player of santour and shatar and is the son of "Seyed Mohammad Reza Siraj" and has a master's degree in architecture from Shahid Beheshti University and a doctorate in art research from the University of Arts. He started playing the tonbak at the age of thirteen, then learned the dulcimer from "Master Saghari". He also used the presence of the late "Master Mahmoud Karimi" and "Master Mohammad Reza Shajarian" in the field of singing. In addition to singing, he has composed some of his works and is also familiar with playing the dulcimer and the trumpet. He also teaches a lecture on art cognition at the School of Fine Arts. He is also the director of the Iranian traditional music group "Biddle".
