There are many healing verses in which healing is mentioned, and it is desirable to repeat them, and they are from the Sunnah of the Prophet as reported by the Messenger of God, upon him be the best prayers and peace.

These are the verses in which the word healing is mentioned or derived from it, which can be read to the patient with the intention of healing him, and they are as follows:

“And heals the hearts of a believing people.” At-Tawbah: 14.

“And if I am sick, it is He who cures.” Al-Shu’ara’ / 80.

“There has come to you an admonition from your Lord, and a healing for what is in the breasts.” Yunus / 57.

“There comes forth from their stomachs a drink of various colours, in which is healing for people.” An-Nahl 69.

“And We send down from the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers.” Al-Isra / 82.

“Say: It is for those who believe guidance and healing.” Fussilat 44.
