Al-Watan Saudi newspaper issued by the Aseer Press and Publication Corporation

The Saudi Al-Watan Newspaper is issued by the Aseer Press and Publishing Corporation, which the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz (may God have mercy on him) laid the foundation stone for in Abha on May 8, 1998. His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz (may God have mercy on him) inaugurated the Foundation and Printing Center building on the seventh of July 2000. Whereas, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz launched the first issue on behalf of the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Media at the time, His Royal Highness Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz (may God have mercy on him) on the 30th of September 2000. Al-Watan newspaper is the first local daily newspaper based on an integrated scientific study, and the first newspaper in the Arab region for which a previous scientific study was developed, and a comprehensive study by 40 researchers.
