It is nice to choose books on specific occasions to read, and we are in blessed days. I wanted, through the messages of the Qur’an, to find a message for myself; As a kind of internal truce with myself.

The book calls for contemplation of creation and the conditions of creatures, their living conditions and human crises from which even the prophets did not escape. Al-Sharqawi conveyed to us the experiences of those who came before us who were mentioned in the Qur’an so that the message would be for us: between patience, having good faith in God, honoring others and being kind to them, tolerance and always remembering. We are transient and our journey began here, but it will not end here, of course. Despite all this, reassurance and stability in it remain one of the continuous human attempts throughout the ages.

As Al-Sharqawi is always accustomed to us, you will find among the pages of his books a phrase or sentence that you will feel is directed specifically to you. It will make you happy or re-arrange your priorities, and most of the time it will blow your mind.
