Surah Al-An'am is the sixth surah within parts (7 and 8) of the Holy Qur'an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from verse (136). It talks about emphasizing the three fundamentals: monotheism, prophethood, and resurrection. It also talks about the idolaters' worship of idols, their deeds, and their heresies. It also contains many jurisprudential rulings on legal functions and religious taboos.

Among its famous verses is the Almighty saying in the verse (160):﴿ Whoever comes with goodness, he has ten times like it, and whoever comes with the bad, then it is not permissible except for it, and it is not like it.
