The jinn is a world different from the world of man and the world of angels, but between them and man there is a common destiny in terms of characterizing the quality of reason and perception, and in terms of the ability to choose the path of good and evil, and they differ from man in matters the most important of which is that the origin of the jinn is contrary to the origin of man. Man is created from dust, and elves are created from fire, as described by God Almighty in the Qur’an.
