فضل العشر الأواخر من رمضان

The last ten nights of Ramadan start from the night of the 21st of Ramadan until the last night of the holy month, and the last ten nights of the blessed month of Ramadan are considered the best 10 nights for worship, good deeds, and closeness to God Almighty.

The virtue of the last ten days of Ramadan

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to revive the last ten days of the month of Ramadan and give them great attention, as he doubled his diligence in worship and was keen to urge people to please God, may He be glorified and exalted, in order to collect good deeds and reward.

And it was reported on the authority of Mrs. Aisha, may God be pleased with her: “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, when he entered the ten days, would tighten his apron, revive the night, and wake his family.” He, peace and blessings be upon him, used to stay up at night in worship, prayer, reading the Qur’an and supplication.

One of the virtues of the last ten nights is the presence of Laylat al-Qadr in one of the odd nights, as it was stated in al-Saheehayn on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Seek out the Night of Decree in the last ten days of Ramadan.” It is a night better than a thousand months.

They are the days of emancipation from the Fire, so every night God chooses the emancipated from the Fire and the winners of Paradise, God willing, without precedent of punishment.
