Yasmine El-Khayyam is a solitary Egyptian singer, the daughter of the famous Egyptian reciter Mahmoud Khalil El-Hosary, whose real name is Efraj. He grew up different from his children in religious orientations.

It was attended by many like Anwar Sadat, whose wife Jihan Sadat supported her in retaliation for Umm Kulthum, who addressed Sadat, saying Izik O Abu Anwar.

Among her songs are "The Most Important Egyptians" composed by the musician Jamal Salama, "Mohamed Rasoul Allah" composed by the musician Jamal Salama.

In 1990, Yasmine retired and wore the hijab.

She also opened a mosque in 6th of October City in Cairo after her father's name.
