In addition, the Road Traffic Code constitutes the main lever necessary to keep pace with the fundamental reforms of the road transport sector and road safety, especially as it provides the appropriate conditions for creating a system for professional driving, regulating driving and rest times, establishing the concept of joint responsibility in the sector, and tightening penalties in the case of violations related to overloading.
