Who said that God is afflicting you with a river, Qur’anic verse No. (249) in Surat Al-Baqarah? When Taloot separated with the soldiers, he said: God afflicted you with a river. He who drank from it is not from me, and whoever does not feed it is not from me. They said, “We have no power today against Goliath and his soldiers.” Those who think that they will meet God said, “How many a small group has defeated a large group, God willing, and God is with the patient.”

He said that God will afflict you with a river in the Noble Qur’an, which is Taloot ✅: When Taloot went out with his soldiers to fight the giants, he said to them: God is testing you for patience with a river before you that you cross; To distinguish the believer from the hypocrite, for whoever of you drinks from the water of the river is not from me, and is not suitable for jihad with me, and whoever does not taste water is from me; Because he is obedient to my command and is fit for jihad, except for he who takes a free hand and takes one room with his hand, there is no blame on him.

When they reached the river, they poured down on the water and drank excessively from it, except for a few of them who were patient with thirst and heat, and contented themselves with the room of the hand, and at that time the disobedient remained behind.

And when Taloot crossed the river with him and the few believers with him - three hundred and fifteen men - to meet the enemy, and they saw the large number of their enemy and their number, they said: We have no power today against Goliath and his mighty soldiers. Overwhelmed by God's permission and commanded by many unbelievers unjust group. God is with the patient with his success and victory, and his good reward.
