লাইলাতুল বারাআত হচ্ছে-গুনাহ থেকে মুক্তি লাভের রাত্রি।মহানবী হযরত মুহাম্মদ(সাঃ.) এরশাদ করেন শাবান মাসের রোজা অন্য মাসের তুলনায় আমার নিকট অধিক প্রিয়। তিনি আরও বলেন শবে বরাতের রাত্রিতে নামাজ আদায় কর, আল-কোরআন তেলাওয়াত কর, যিকির কর, তাসবীহ পড়, দোয়া কর এবং দিনের বেলা রোজা রাখ। তিনি ঘোষণা করেন- এই রাতে মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালা দুনিয়ার আসমানে তাশরিফ আনবেন এবং বলবেন আছে কি এমন কোন ব্যক্তি যে আমার কাছে গুনাহ মাফের জন্য প্রার্থনা করবে? আমি তার গুনাহ মাফ করে দিব। রিযিক চাইলে রিযিকের ব্যবস্থা করে দিব। বিপদগ্রস্ত ব্যক্তি দোয়া চাইলে বিপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করে দিবে। তাই এই রাতে যত বেশি সম্ভব আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা করুন। হয়তো মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালা আপনার প্রার্থনা কবুল করতে পারেন। এই অ্যাপটির মাধ্যমে শবে বরাতের ইতিহাস সম্পর্কে জানতে পারবেন। মহানবী ( সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম ) এরশাদ করেনঃ শাবান মাস হল আমার মাস আর পবিত্র রমজান মাস হল মহান আল্লাহ তাআলার মাস। তিনি আরও বলেন, তোমরা শাবানের চাঁদ সঠিকভাবে হিসাব রাখ।শা’বান মাসের ১৪তম তারিখের দিবাগত রাত হচ্ছে- লাইলাতুল বারাআত বা শবে বারাআত।
