Dasimaiya of God is considered to be the first reciter of vows.

Jedara Dasimaiah was born in Mudanur B village of Surpur taluk in Yadgiri district to Ramaiah-Shankari couple, Chaitra Shuddha Panchami in a weaver family. Dasimaiah married Duggale. The Devanga community considers him to be an avatar of Devanga Ganesha, the Avatar Purusha. Dasimaiah Kalyani lived during the reign of Chalukya king Jayasimha.
