დავითიანი

Book Davitiani - the only surviving work of David Guramishvili. It describes the life of a writer.

There are also many distributions for young people (self-study of students). The Russian-Prussian war is also mentioned.

"Davitiani" was a continuation of the established tradition in Georgian literature ("Teimuraziani", "Archiliani" were called collections of Georgian kings-poets).

David Guramishvili considered the prophet David as a source of his poetic inspiration. The poet imitates the biblical David, responds to him and praises the Lord as his darling.

Thus, it is possible to assume that in Davitiani, along with Guramishvili, the poet Sekhnia-biblical David is also meant.
