■About the exam

This is a certification exam sponsored by the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry that tests business compliance (legal compliance) ability and the basic practical legal knowledge.

The Business Practical Law Examination (R) has the following three levels.

・Level 3 (assuming the minimum basic knowledge of legal practice that a business person should know)

・Level 2 (assumes upper level of knowledge)

・Level 1 (assumes upper level as practical ability)

In 2021, the traditional PBT (Paper Based Test) was changed to IBT (Internet Based Test) and CBT (test conducted at a test center).
