Record the occurrence type, occurrence time, geographic location and other information of plant diseases and insect pests, as a powerful auxiliary tool to assist the plant protection community or plant doctors in real-time field diagnosis of diseases and insect pests in the future.
This system was developed by the Agricultural Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and is provided to personnel in the field of plant protection to facilitate the collection of investigation records of plant diseases and insect pests in Taiwan. After the user goes to the field to investigate, they can send back photos of crop diseases and insects (including pests, physiological disorders, etc.), and the recorded data include time stamps, GPS positioning, and descriptions of crop diseases and insect pests. The distributed database can assist researchers or plant doctors in the future as an auxiliary system for diagnosis.
