WeWork App Service Access Permissions

The WeWork app uses minimal device permissions to ensure ease of use.

The following explains some of the device permissions required.

Location Acquisition Permission (Required)

WeWork is a GPS location-based challenge participation service, so we verify your current location and complete various missions.

Location Acquisition Permission is also required to provide nearby challenges and various customized information.

Storage Space (Required)

Required to configure the media storage upon completion of challenge missions, read and write various content within the app service, and generate logs.

Additionally, for login convenience, unique terminal device identification information, such as the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) and MAC address, is stored as per Article 60-2, Paragraph 1 of the Telecommunications Business Act.

"For Android versions lower than 6.0, individual app access permissions cannot be controlled.

To control unnecessary access permissions, the device's operating system must be upgraded.

Furthermore, since access permissions agreed to by existing apps will not change even after an operating system upgrade,

to reset access permissions, previously installed apps must be deleted and reinstalled."
