Genesis Digital Key is a service that allows you to open and start your car's door using NFC and Bluetooth communication on your smartphone.

The Genesis Digital Key App provides features such as door lock / unlock, remote start, emergency alert, and trunk open via the vehicle's Bluetooth proximity control.

You can also easily share your car keys with family and friends using the Genesis Digital Key App.

Touch control

-You can open the car door and start it without running the digital key app.

-You can lock / unlock the door by touching the door handle while the smartphone screen is on.

-When the smartphone screen is on, put it on the indoor authentication pad (wireless charger) and press the start button to start the vehicle.

-However, if the screen lock is set (pattern, PIN, password, iris, fingerprint, etc.), it can be used after unlocking the screen.

Proximity control

-The digital key app allows you to control a variety of vehicles. The door can be locked / unlocked, remotely started, emergency alarm and trunk open and closed at a distance of about 10 meters.

-Proximity control cannot be controlled at the same time when other users control it.

Digital key sharing

-You can run the digital key app to share the digital key with up to three people, and you can choose the sharing period and features.

-Enter the real name and phone number of the person who will be sharing the key correctly, check the permission and press the OK button.

-A shared key issue text or push message will be sent. The sharer is available after installing the app and signing up.

-On the key sharing screen, you can check the key sharing result and the information of the sharer who received the key.

※ Precautions before use

-Smartphone available: The Genesis Digital Key can only be used on Android smartphones that have passed the internal usability test.

* You can check the available smartphone models on the Genesis website (www.genesis.com).

* You can register your Genesis Digital Key with your own smartphone.You cannot register your Genesis Digital Key with another person / corporate name smartphone.

Available Vehicles: The Genesis Digital Key applies to the GV80, regardless of trim / option, and can be applied to new vehicles coming in the future. Detailed specifications and basic availability will be announced at the time of release.

* Not available on vehicles released prior to GV80.

* Genesis Digital Key can be registered as the key holder of the vehicle registration card for vehicle security. For more information on the vehicle name, please visit the Genesis website at www.genesis.com.
