“It is Zicola, the land of the insane.” This is how Khaled told himself, after he left this basement in which he almost died and found himself in this place, as if time had moved him and Khaled walked another distance and his fatigue increased after the sun became vertical until Khaled was able to ride a cart. The carriage headed on its way to Zikola, and there he saw Khaled as if he was exploring the city of dreams, looking at the faces of the people and their different expressions. How would Khaled coexist with these people in the land of Zikola and how would he return again to his homeland?
