2EM offers you an eco-friendly and cost-effective way to get around the city and beyond. With more than 2,500 vehicles available for hire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you are guaranteed to always find an easily accessible car.

How does it work for tenants?

Renting a car with 2EM is quick and easy. Register on the car rental application with your login data, then specify your address and the rental period you want. Then, validate your choice so that the application offers you a list of cars available near you. All you have to do is choose the car that suits your needs in order to request a reservation.

On the 2EM application, you are sure to find a car to your liking whether you are in Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich or any other city in Switzerland.

How does it work for owners?

The carsharing application offered by 2EM is easy to use, for both tenants and owners. If you want to make your car available to other users, here's how:

• Register for free on the application.

• Connect with your login and password

• In the “My vehicles” menu, choose “Insert”

• Specify the type and details about your car

• Add some photos of your car and validate

That's it. The application will be reviewed by 2EM staff, who will contact you by email to confirm that you have been accepted as a carsharing service provider.

How much can you earn as an owner?

The amount you earn per day depends on the type of vehicle and its age. On average, for a car, you can earn CHF 65 per day, including mileage.

In addition, tenants like to do good business! If you offer your car at a lower price, it will be more attractive and you will earn more money over time.

How much does car rental cost?

Each owner can decide the rental price. The price is displayed in the description of the car. On average, our rental rates are 30% lower than those of traditional rental companies.

We take no commission from the renter, so the amount you see is the amount you pay!

How does the insurance work?

2EM has taken out insurance specially designed for car rental activities between individuals. You can rent the vehicle of your choice on the carsharing application for the duration that suits you and all insurance costs are included in the rental price.

In the event of theft or damage, 2EM's insurance comes into play. All you have to do is contact the 2EM emergency line. A member of our team will then carry out an investigation and advise you of the next steps to take.

Available vehicles

In an effort to provide a mode of transportation for every occasion, 2EM Car Sharing is proud to offer a variety of vehicles to its members. We have a range of electric cars on the car rental app.

You can choose from luxury models including the Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model X or Porsche Taycan. Our catalog also includes commercial vehicles such as the Nissan NV200 or the Ford Ducato.
