Seven sisters also called the"Paradise unexplored"are the contiguous states

of Arunachal Pradesh,Assam,Meghalaya,Manipur,Mizoram,Nagaland and Tripura in the north-eastern India.And the theme of our fest brings you closer to this unexplored paradise.It's not just a theme,it's a move to raise our voice against the way north east Indians are treated outside their state.There is another reason behind this,it is to bring north east to the mainstream,so that it is not secluded.We want you to take a look of the mesmerizing beauty of North East.

Here is a brief description of the seven marvels:-

The region has a predominantly tribal population that speaks numerous

Tibeto-Burman and Austro-Asiatic language.The large and populous states of

Assam,Manipur,Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura remain predominantly Hindu with

a sizeable Muslim minority in Assam.

These seven sisters have been crafted with God's own hands and are gifted

rich wildlife and scenic beauty.There are beautiful wildlife

sanctuaries,tea estates and mighty rivers like Brahmaputra.The region is a

home to one horned rhinoceros,elephants and other endangered wildlife.

It's an irony that being a part of a country like India which is a home to

rich culture and heritage,seven sisters are still unexplored.With a hope in

our hearts that this brings a change and we acknowledge the invaluable

resources and rich culture this state has stored for us,we begin our 2015

fest.
