Aakhar

Aakhar app aims to help user learn basics of three major languages languages that are spoken in the state of Uttarakhand. As number of people who migrate out of state barely use languages of their region, the language is slowly losing its audience. To encourage people to use it more in their daily interactions this app idea was developed.

This app is a digital dictionary containing word-meanings, common interactions etc to help the daily communication in the regional languages Garhwali / Kumaoni / Jaunsaari of Uttarakhand.
