APPROPRIATE: Multidimensional assessment of the adequacy of clinical procedures
This instrument allows the evaluation of clinical procedures according to four main dimensions:
- Clinical BENEFIT.
- SECURITY or associated risks.
- Patient PREFERENCES.
- MANAGEMENT or organizational impact.
It is necessary that the 5 statements included in each of these 4 dimensions (20 required items) be evaluated. It is also recommended to add comments and/or justifications to the answers entered.
Based on our evaluations, the app will tell us if the clinical procedure should be considered inappropriate (score below 45 points); doubtful (between 45 and 75 points); or adequate (score above 75 points).
