AdHear

AdHear is an innovative approach which aims to help hearing aid users to have better outcomes and increase usage of hearing aids. It provides informational counseling on proper expectations and benefits of hearing aids, usage and care of hearing aids, basic troubleshooting, different communication strategies, and testimonials from other hearing aid users, and daily monitoring of hearing experience.

AdHear was developed by a group of audiologists, audiometrist and otolaryngologist. It was validated and proven that the use of AdHear smartphone application can be utilized as a learning object to help increase competency and hearing aid management skills among hearing aid users.

The audiologist/audiometrist/hearing aid provider may use the AdHear smartphone application as an intervention not as an alternative rather, an adjunct to traditional verbal counseling after fitting hearing aid/s to their patients.
