Aether Formula

Aether Formula is a match-3 puzzle game set in a dark alchemy laboratory where you fuse elements and complete ancient formulas. Swap adjacent tiles on an 8×8 grid to line up three or more of the same element in a row or column. Matches vanish instantly, new tiles drop into place, and larger combos reward you with bonus points. The atmosphere is mysterious and elegant, inspired by old knowledge and a premium, non-cartoon aesthetic—no flashy magic or sparkles, just clear strategy and satisfying clears.

Each level has a clear goal: reach a target score, stay within a move limit, collect a set number of a specific element, or pull off a match of five or more tiles. Ninety handcrafted levels take you from simple score challenges through limited-move puzzles, collection tasks, and late-game stages that demand big combos and careful planning. Levels unlock in order, and you earn up to three stars based on how well you perform, giving plenty of reason to revisit and improve.

The board is always fair. After every move, the game checks that at least two valid match possibilities remain. If the layout becomes unplayable, the board is reshuffled instantly so you never get stuck through bad luck. Progression is saved locally: unlocked levels, stars, high scores, and achievements are stored on your device so you can pick up exactly where you left off.

Beyond the main campaign, an achievements system tracks milestones such as your first match, completing level ranges, making large matches, earning stars, and mastering the final levels. A dark alchemy-themed level select screen, welcome flow, and settings (including sound and visual themes like Obsidian Lab, Emerald Arcane, and Solar Gold) round out the experience. Victory and failure are shown in clear dialogs with options to retry, continue to the next level, or return to level select—all without distracting animations.
