AidEye

AidEye is an app which allows the visually impaired, dyslexic, dementia, elderly and anyone with visual disability to enjoy the full satisfaction of social independence and integration. AidEye allows us to identify items around them such as clothes, products and menus at restaurants. It does this by clearly identifying and providing an accurate audible description. The App can be used at home or elsewhere to continue to identify items. It does all of this without compromising security.

AidEye would ease the visually impaired’s ability to undertake everyday activities such as shopping better . For AidEye to maximise its scope, we aim to be in every shop and restaurant, thus we have various types of tags which would be used to tag items in-store. The tags can also be purchased independently to tag personal items.

The aim of AidEye is to create a world where the visually impaired are socially included and restore their joy in everyday activities. It is currently in 10 languages.
